Sandburg Trustee Nominating Petitions Available Sept. 18

April 2, 2019, is the consolidated election when Trustees of Carl Sandburg College District 518 will be elected. Two (2) candidates will be elected for a six-year term, beginning within 28 days of the election and ending April 2025.

Per statutes, Sept. 18, 2018 is the first day prospective candidates may circulate nominating petitions for signatures for this election. The first day to file nominating positions is Dec. 10, 2018, and petitions will be accepted until 5 p.m. Dec. 17, 2018.

Carl Sandburg College District 518 Board candidates must file Dec. 10-17, 2018. The Carl Sandburg College district includes all of Hancock, Henderson, Knox and Warren counties and parts of Fulton, Henry McDonough, Mercer, Schuyler and Stark counties in Illinois.
